It would be nice to have a recording of the event so that we could listen to it after the session in case we missed a topic.

Make it more interactive which would be feasible in a longer timeframe. Archive a taped version for attendees to go back for any information that was missed.

--The experience of the two trainers. Discussion of the role-playing ideas in medical community (interview, case presentation, etc…) The rationale/stats of WHY improving communication is important: very compelling.
--I like the resources, the suggestions for what to cover, and the outline of what constitutes a small or large group.

--Personal experience of the presenters.
--Sample 2-hr seminar and ‘Talking Points’
--The stats at the start of the session. Good References.

--I enjoyed it and it got me excited again to do some more accent training. I was very interested in hearing about the NIH grant that was funded re: ACCENT TRAINING. I have to write a grant myself I the next year or so, and am intertaining all types of options for specific topics.

This is a unique course for a unique population of individuals. The course tied in all the elements to be considered when setting up an accent program for the medical community.
