Nancy Hiser, M.A., CCC-SP, is the principle and 1990 cofounder of American Speechsounds. Since 1995, we have distributed all of the CD Rom programs in their catalog, and look forward to anything new they have to offer!
In addition to providing accent improvement training for more than 20 years and developing American Speechsounds pronunciation software, Nancy Hiser co-authored and taught writing courses for non-native (and native) corporate professionals in southern California. “I was initially uncomfortable moving into writing from speech but found it was fun and rewarding – our non-native clients make changes in writing more easily than in speech. And writing email is such an integral part of their lives and careers.”
