What should you expect in an Onsite Event?
Methods
We follow a quick pace. Expect a fast moving, high energy, contact-packed weekend! Our seminars are highly participatory workshops. We utilize individual and group experience. We practice testing/instructional skills and explore relevant marketing issues. Q&A are welcomed in all topics.
Lorna constantly passes on tips and techniques gleaned from her years of consulting experience. Her open approach results in freer exchange of information: everyone benefits from the 'gems' offered by participants!
Our Approach
Our focus is on realistic, practical material. We concentrate on the how-tos for accent as well as high-level language learning. In particular, the LDS seminars focus on realistic approaches to the business environment.
As each workshop begins, Lorna surveys the specific expectations of the group. That perspective remains the filter through which all information is delivered. The applications to your situation never escape you!
Much as we enjoy your immediate and highly complementary feedback on the workshops, it's equally important that you retain the skills you leave us with. To help you do that, we provide a comprehensive course manual that is user-friendly enough to refer to long after you leave. Learn without pain! Two days - especially non-work days - shouldn't be wasted. Lorna is always mindful of her responsibility to make it worthwhile. She knows how to deliver, and yet keep the time entertaining.
While the content is extensive, we also want you to walk away more confident to handle it. You'll leave our workshops with the feeling that "This isn't overwhelming. I can do this." Our goal is not to impress you with our competency; by the time you leave, we want you to be impressed with yours.
