October 20, 2005
We continue to think about all our colleagues in the hurricane zone, as we hear another one is on the way! We send our prayers for everyone’s safe haven.
The newest edition of LDS Accents has
been posted. We have included a lot of information about the upcoming California
event dates through the close of the year. Some trainers are still missing
the announcements! The newsletter is one of the primary information organs
for LDS. Like everyone, we’re trying to minimize the emails we’re
delivering about discrete events in favor of a contact point that you can choose
to seek out.
Some things to note this month:
- We have one unique event for Accent 101+ trainers to be held during the convention: Beyond the Basics of Accented Speech – A Night Owl Event! Check out the details in the current Press Release or in LDS Accents.
- We've set up the newest round of the Online Training Courses into November. Check it out via the Online Calendar of Events category in the blue bar.
- Again, we urge you to read the posted articles by Lorna Sikorski referred to in the May 30, 2005 Press Release. Lorna would really like some feedback on their contact. Please get in touch!
- We’re looking for seasoned Trainers
for accent to present proposal for Unique Webinars for 2006: are you one
of them? We are especially interested
in professionals with unique expertise with singers or with regional accents.
