Taylor Speech & Language, LLC (TSL) offers Accent Modification Coaching for professionals seeking to develop the American English style of speaking. Currently, TSL provides coaching on a one-to-one basis, focusing attention on the individual communication needs of each unique client..
All coaching sessions are delivered via distance learning (the Internet). This makes the coaching sessions more convenient for the busy professional. Clients need not worry about traveling to the TSL office while worrying about locating suitable parking. Further, clients can, therefore, attend coaching sessions whether they are at work, at home or on vacation.. All the client needs is a computer with a high-speech Internet connection and a headset that includes a microphone. Also, many clients prefer using telepractice for sessions because it affords a greater sense of privacy.
Accent Coaching programs are set to last 15 weeks. Persons who have attended university courses are already used to semesters often lasting this length of time, and it is felt that significant gains can be realized within this period of time. Upon completion of the program, it is anticipated that clients will show remarkable progress from the program’s initial assessment to the post-assessment.
